Well it has been about 6 weeks since we have been home and we are fully back in the swing of things. We were living in Kyiv, Ukraine from September to December and did a few weeks traveling through Europe for Christmas. It was the most wonderful experience and we were able to see so many things that have been long awaited. Pearce did wonderful with all the travel and grew into a little boy while we were away. He started to miss his friend, Adi, while we were gone and couldn't wait to see her. When we picked up Adi from the airport from her Christmas vacation they ran towards each other and hug each other, just like a little married couple. It was the sweetest thing, and we all cried.
During our 90 days in Kyiv we had the wonderful opportunity to learn a little Russian and also, go to Paris for the weekend. Awww, what a fantastic city! Once we finished our time in Kyiv we had a bunch of exciting stops planned in Europe for Christmas. We started out with a flight to Venice, then we drove from Venice to Milan, with a stop in Verona. We then took a flight from Milan to Vienna. We spent the week of Christmas in Vienna and it was so wonderful. After Vienna we took a train to Munich. It was so amazing to see all these places that we had learned about and heard about for so long. We met a lot of great people and ate a lot of great food in all our traveling. It was so exciting to finally get some stamps in our passport. Pearce is only 3 (nearly 4) and he already has a well stamped passport. We just hope that he can remember some of our experiences.
